Virtual Workshops. *Coming soon!*

Life is can be very busy, so a weekly commitment can be difficult. However, the virtual workshops are emailed once a week and can be completed at your convenience. They will be 10-20 minutes and include tools for action, such as Tools of Progression, self-reflection exercises, and addressing the Common Core State Standards connection.

1. Meaningful Conversations with Children Blueprint: Vocabulary Basics

  • This is a useful workshop to get a deeper understanding of vocabulary that impacts education and its application on a daily basis. This workshop focuses on approaching & understanding your child by considering buzzwords such as 21st-century thinking skills, child development, cultural competence, global citizenship, integrating learning & skills, and scaffolding. This workshop will be sure to change how you interact in your daily conversations!

2. Building Capacity: Addressing Perspective-Taking, Confidence, & Future-Self

  • This workshop adds to the previous workshop by going deeper into the research involving: symmathesy & complex learning, child-centered IDGs & SDGs, dialectical thinking & 21st-century thinking skills, human flourishing & transformation, global citizenship & connection to curriculum, and lifelong learning & quality education. This workshop will provide detailed examples of the many variables in conversation as well as in the experiences of your child. Prepare to feel prepared in how you support your child!

The purpose of the Global Conversation Video Modules is to provide a convenient, effective resource for intentional talking points in conversation. This includes conversational videos and recorded video support from me. Each video module includes 30 videos with three sections, ranging from beginning conversation structure to advanced conversation structure. If you are looking for a creative & expansive way to connect with your daughter, son, cousin, niece, nephew, mentee, students, etc., THIS is the course for YOU!

Virtual {LIVE} Courses.

Classes will be offered to students ages K-8. They will also be offered for ESL leaners of any age! Authentic videos are the foundation for conversation and activities.

Global Conversation Video Course

There are currently three courses I have made: Growth, Balance, and Impact. For now, we will rotate through each one in the GCV course, until the courses are ready to be released individually.

1. Growth

  • This module is based on personal development and is a great module to start with because it addresses mindsets. The first 15 classes are imposter syndrome, disappointment & bridge building, focus framework, how to learn, transformation, application: action, learn & model: resilience, effort & decision-making, perspective: discomfort, consistency to purpose, valuable awareness, patterns & reassurance, communication through highs & lows, playing with scope, and cultivating connection.

2. Balance

  • This module is based on the scope of reality & opportunities and is a stepping stone from mindsets into the next module. The first 15 classes are the process & how to get there,  communication, fear & accomplishment, self-development, IDGs, SDGs, technology & data, entrepreneurship, creator economy, talking about violence, stepping stones, abundance, thought coaching, reality, intelligence, and critical thinking skills.

3. Impact

  • This module is based on the foundation of the Social Innovation for Sustainable Development Masters. This module has 6 sections: how to think about change, conflict & transition, sustainability, business, policy, and acceleration. Keywords in this module are social dialogue, financing, resources, innovation, global cities, entrepreneurs, digital markets & consequences, measurement & framework, and design.
